The internationally recognised C.P.M. (Certified Purchasing Manager) program has now been customised for the Asia-Pacific Region. The program is managed by Victoria University, through the Institute for Logistics and Supply Chain Management, on behalf of the Institute for Supply Chain Management (ISM) based in the US.
The C.P.M. qualification focuses on the managerial, administrative, strategic, as well as the tactical aspects of the purchasing and management function.
The C.P.M. program will suit professionals with extensive purchasing experience at a senior level to successfully complete the C.P.M. examination modules.
The C.P.M. Exam consists of four modules:
Module 1: Purchasing Process
Module 2: Supply Environment
Module 3: Value Enhancements Strategies
Module 4: Management.
In registering for the C.P.M. exam candidates must acknowlege that ISM will provide Victoria University with a copy of their results.
To apply for Certification, candidates must pass Modules 1 through 4
and document 5 years of full-time professional (non-clerical, non-support) supply management experience,
or have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university and document 3 years full-time professional supply management experience.

Format: The format of the full review/study program is: 1 introduction day, 4 training sessions days – one day for each module, 1 revision day and 2 examination days – 2 modules examined per day. Currently the program is run on consecutive Saturdays, taking into account public holidays and school holidays.
Trainer: Tiong Lee C.P.M. His 13+ years of senior procurement management experience ranges from leading procurement processes and teams in the Oil and Gas, retail and distribution, engineering construction, utilities, telecommunication, airport management and manufacturing industries in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and a number of Asian countries. He has presented the C.P.M. review course and professional development programs such as CIPS Graduate Diploma. He holds a BA, BSc (Maths) degrees and an MBA.
