$20 Million For Mildura Rail Freight Corridor

SNIPPET: The Mildura Rail Corridor Freight project will receive $20 million in AusLink funding from the Coalition Government, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Transport and Regional Services, Mark Vaile, announced today. The rail works programme will facilitate lifting of speeds on the track to a consistent level of 80 km/hour. . "This funding announcement is a further demonstration of the Howard/Vaile Government's commitment to major AusLink national projects in Victoria, following on from AusLink funding allocated to the Dynon port links project ($110 million), the Tottenham to West Footscray rail project ($45 million) and the Wodonga Rail Bypass ($45 million)" Mr Vaile said.
