SNIPPET: Investment in the nations' roads and railways would be seriously threatened by the election of a Rudd-Gillard Government, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Transport and Regional Services, Mark Vaile, warned today. Speaking at the Bureau of Transport and Regional Economics International Transport Colloquium, Mr Vaile said the election of a Federal Labor Government would add up to 20 per cent to the cost of major road and rail construction projects. Kevin Rudd would only be able to deliver 83 kilometres of road for the same money.
