Our PhD Program
The Institute for Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia, is seeking PhD students in the area of sustainability and supply chain management, start in July 2008. The project is to establish a framework to assess and measure the impact on sustainability (environment, social and economic sustainability) of elements of the supply chain. This is set in the context of the National Logistics City Project for Melbourne.' v4 M! 5 w2 E

Applicants should have a master or first class honor’s degree in the areas of mathematics, operations research, computer science, management science, or systems engineering, or s/he can demonstrate equivalent research experience in a relevant discipline (e.g. environmental sustainability, urban sustainability, logistics and supply chain management). The successful candidates should have excellent communication skills, and a good command of English language.
The successful applicant will pay no tuition fees and will receive $10, 000 per year for living allowance for three years.
