ILSCM is a Centre of Knowledge and available to help you realise the potential of a logistics and supply chain approach to excellence for business in Australia. We have, or have access to, a significant base of expertise in logistics and supply chain. If you want information on any particular aspect of logistics and supply chain, or maybe case studies on how it can be applied in your industry, ILSCM is at your disposal.

ILSCM sells knowledge and will undertake specialist consulting projects.  These projects can vary in size form very small inexpensive studies and implementations (and general advice) to SME's to large-scale projects with a multinational dimension. The project team size will vary dependent on the extent of the project. ILSCM will engage VU staff and external resources, whom will have worked in various industries. In the first instance, ILSCM will provide opportunities for VU staff and graduate students, to get involved in “real life” projects.

Criteria will be set, against which these resources will be assessed prior to becoming an “Associate” of ILSCM, such as number of years experience, specialist area expertise, and qualifications. In addition, these resources will be expected to stay abreast of new concepts in Supply Chains, Logistics Techniques, and Logistics Management
